Samoter 2023: more than 40,000 professional from 91 countries
From Wednesday May 3rd to Sunday May 7th the 31st Samoter construction machinery exhibition held at Veronafiere attracted more than 40,000 specialist visitors over the five days of the event from 91 countries, with Germany, Spain and France in the first three places in terms of number of arrivals. There was also good attendance from Asia, Africa, North and South America.Business, innovation, internationalisation and training were the key topics at Samoter this year. The event brought together 536 exhibiting companies at the Verona Exhibition Centre, 115 international from 23 countries, with the return of major players in the sector such as CGT Caterpillar and Hitachi. The 31st Samoter had a strong focus on the implementation of new technologies in the construction world to help it become increasingly competitive and sustainable. Visitors therefore had the chance see the machinery of the future at work in the new dynamic exhibition area that made its début this year: Il Cantiere Digitale-The Digital Construction Site within the scope of the Samoter LAB project. In addition to business that included more than 500 b2b meetings set up by companies with more over 106 foreign top buyers from 36 countries selected by Veronafiere and ICE-Trade Agency, Samoter confirmed its status as a trade fair with great content, thanks to more than 80 training initiatives and educational activities organised with high-profile technical-scientific partners.
GISADA LAUNCHES AMBASSADOR INTENSE
On Wednesday 24 May in Milan, Gisada, the Swiss high-end fragrance brand born in Zurich, met for the first time with the beauty and luxury press of leading magazines for the launch of its new men’s fragrance Ambassador Intense. Gisada CEO Arben Ademi and the nose creator of the new fragrance, Olaf Larsen, spoke. The company CEO retraced the history of the brand’s birth, its philosophy, its international expansion and the arrival of the fragrance on the Italian market, creating great curiosity in the 50 or so journalists present. Afterwards, everyone had the opportunity to test the company’s new arrival, Ambassdor Intense, together with the other fragrances that make up the Ambassador line: Ambassador Men, the brand’s male bestseller, Ambassador Women and Ambassadora.
Aquarel is presented The New Collection designed by Patricia Urquiola for Budri
Budri – on the occasion of the Milan Design Week 2023 – presented at its showroom in Foro Bonaparte 60 the new Aquarel collection, designed by Patricia Urquiola, that comes from an unusual symbiosis between the Classic Roman Travertine and the Iranian White Onyx. An outstanding combination between a material widely used in architecture for its strength and durability and the delicacy of White Onyx, interpreted in this collection in watercolor shades.
The chromatic nuances in pastel tones contrast with the porosity and apparent roughness of Travertine, in a harmonious coexistence of colors and shapes of artistic allure. The skillful combination of colors with warm tones that fade into cold tones becomes a large painter’s canvas characterized by the uniqueness of each brushstroke.
The collection consists of two Dining Tables of different sizes, a Low Table, a Paravent, a Wall Cladding, as well as the majestic Aquarel Artwork and accessories that enrich the tables.
