Aquarel is presented The New Collection designed by Patricia Urquiola for Budri
Budri – on the occasion of the Milan Design Week 2023 – presented at its showroom in Foro Bonaparte 60 the new Aquarel collection, designed by Patricia Urquiola, that comes from an unusual symbiosis between the Classic Roman Travertine and the Iranian White Onyx. An outstanding combination between a material widely used in architecture for its strength and durability and the delicacy of White Onyx, interpreted in this collection in watercolor shades.
The chromatic nuances in pastel tones contrast with the porosity and apparent roughness of Travertine, in a harmonious coexistence of colors and shapes of artistic allure. The skillful combination of colors with warm tones that fade into cold tones becomes a large painter’s canvas characterized by the uniqueness of each brushstroke.
The collection consists of two Dining Tables of different sizes, a Low Table, a Paravent, a Wall Cladding, as well as the majestic Aquarel Artwork and accessories that enrich the tables.
Vermentino Grand Prix
The third edition of Vermentino Grand Prix, organized by Consorzio Tutela Vini della Maremma Toscana, was held on March 12 at Saturnia Thermal Bath to promote, starting from the start its territory of origin, one of the wines with the highest growth in the last ten years. An extraordinary panel of judges selected ten wines amongst over 50 labels: the best expression of this grape variety in a still uncontaminated land, without industries, that tends to satisfy international markets.

Monteverro: an unusual food&wine pairing at Bulgari Hotel in Milan
An intimate dinner at Bulgari Hotel in Milan with Monteverro aims to dispel a myth.
What if we do not have to choose between red or white for once? The Tuscan winery breaks the mould and plays with the pairing of three different vintages of Chardonnay and Tinata with the creations conceived by Chef Niko Romito.
A selected group of journalists of wine and lifestyle sectors took part in the event. The guests had the opportunity to taste the wines, explained by the oenologist Matthieu Taunay and to try a food&wine pairing innovative experience.
