Associazione Viticoltori di Castellina in Chianti turns 20 and has chosen Milan as the second stop on a tour to tell the story of this wonderful Chianti Classico territory. Presenting the most unusual, fascinating and curious face of this municipality, which concentrates among the most prestigious winemaking realities of the whole of Tuscany, is a great wine professional, Armando Castagno, who has collected the interviews of 37 producers in the book ‘Castellina in Chianti – territorio, vino, persone‘ (Castellina in Chianti – territory, wine, people) presented on Wednesday 29 March at the DADA restaurant in Taverna. Explaining the project were Enrico Pozzesi, President of the Associazione Viticoltori di Castellina in Chianti, and Armando Castagno himself, interviewed by wine expert Alessandro Franceschini. After the presentation, 37 producers from Castellina in Chianti served their Chianti Classico wines for tasting to the numerous journalists and sector operators who attended the event.
