ZedComm was in charge of realising the event Oltrepò – Pinot Nero Land: a territory, a grape variety, two excellences, at Antica Tenuta Pegazzera in Casteggio (Pavia province), an aristocratic palace on the hills of Oltrepò Pavese.
BRIEF
The event was strongly desired by 20 producers, along with the support of Oltrepò Pavese Consortium, to promote the double soul of a great variety: the Metodo Classico bubbles and the elegant red wine, which both come from the Pinot Nero grape. A sensory experience of discovering and deepening, under the guide of Alessandra Piubello and Filippo Bartolotta, two expert and prepared wine communicators, well-known at an international level.
TASKS
During the day, a walk-around tasting took place, in which the producers had the opportunity to let journalists and trade representatives taste their wines. In the morning, a press conference was held, with the participation of the two speakers Filippo Bartolotta and Alessandra Piubello, the spokesperson of the participant wineries Ottavia Giorgi di Vistarino from Conte Vistarino winery, the agronomist Pierluigi Donna and the Director of the Oltrepò Consortium Carlo Veronese. Two masterclasses were organized as well. The first one, held by Alessandra Piubello, was dedicated to the Pinot Nero Metodo Classico. The second one, on the red version of Pinot Nero, was directed by Filippo Bartolotta.
OUTCOMES
At its first edition, the event saw the participation of 54 journalists and over 150 trade representatives, who were impressed by the quality of the wines and the beautiful sharing mood of the participant wineries. Producers were also happy about the organization and efficiency in terms of audience quality and brand reputation.
